| Role Description | HEAD WAITER - CUMBRIA, 2AA ROSETTES £20K - HEAD WAITER Head Waiter required for this contemporary country inn set within a beautiful location in the Lake District. The Inn oozes luxury and charm and is a mixture of rustic and modern roled into one. The Country Inn has an excellent reputation and is popular with both regular clientele and also known as a \'destination restaurant.\' The Head Chef has a Michelin Star background therefore the food is of the highest level and they require a Head Waiter to ensure service is also ran to the same standard. |
| Required Experience | The restaurant serves up to 120 covers per service and is open for food from 12pm to 9.30pm serving Modern British Cuisine from an A La Carte Menu along with specials and a simpler menu for the bar and lounge area. They offer 20 individually designed bedrooms all of which are furnished to the highest levels with amazing vews over the Valley. The Restaurant area is contemporary in design with wooden floors, linen table cloths and they offer a full fine dining service with over 150 wines on their wine list. Within the bar and lounge area is a more rustic feel with slate flooring and open fires and exposed beams. |
| Benefits | As Head Waiter you will report to the Deputy General Manager and General Manager and be responsible for service within the Restaurant in their absence. Your role will be to ensure the highest level of customer service is provided at all times by offering a friendly, efficient, informal yet highly professional service. You will manage a team of restaurant staff and will provide training and guidance to ensure the level of service is continued throughout. Most importantly they are looking for someone who is an enthusiastic individual who aspires to be the best and can offer a warm and friendly welcome to all customers to make their visit to this establishment the best it can be. Accommodation is very easy to find within the area at reasonable prices, assistance will be provided with this and also temporary staff accommodation is also available. |
