Role Description HEAD CHEF - CUMBRIA, KESWICK - 2AA ROSETTE COUNTRY HOUSE HOTEL Head Chef is required for this elegant hotel in the beautiful area close to Keswick, Lake District. The hotel is in a stunning location with a holiday buzz about the town and picturesque views over the Lakes. The hotel has over 20 + bedrooms, 2AA Rosette Fine Dining Restaurant. The hotel has an excellent reputation and is popular with both repeat business and visitors to the area. The Menu is Traditional British in design and is changed with the seasons.
Required Experience As Head Chef you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen and you will be managing and motivating a small, professional brigade, ensuring that ongoing training and development is offered to all members of the team. Solid man management and kitchen management skills are essential along with a stable background. You should be a creative and talented chef with exceptionally high standards who can lead their team by example and inspire them. You must have the passion and ability to maintain an exceptional standard of cuisine and the right candidate will ideally be experienced in good fresh food and fine dining kitchens and be looking at taking a role to take the food further.
